rely on the company's heavy-duty drill rigs to safely explore, test, and collect geological samples mainly through Virginia - VA however can extend to North Carolina - NC, and Maryland - MD.
SEQ Drilling based out of Hanover is on the lookout for a full time Driller Apprentice to join their team and learn from a seasoned professional with over 25 years of diversified experience in the industry.
Working under the supervision of the Driller, the Driller Apprentice will be responsible for tasks such as preparing drill sites, lifting hollow steel augers and rods, adhering to safety protocols, collecting samples of the subterranean environment, soil and rock classification, welding, and mechanical work.
Required skills and experience include a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, adaptability to a variety of outdoor environments, and a desire to obtain Commerical Drivers License (CDL).
Work trips outside of town may be necessary.
